It is with a sparkling, full heart I present to you the second rendition of MARGE CAMP. While the acronym started as a playful joke, why fight it if it fits?
"Movement | Artistry | Restoration: Group Experience / Celebrating A Meaningful Practice". This absolutely, truly, and entirely encapsulates the essence of MARGE CAMP.
I oh-so warmly invite you to join me in the delightful town of Puerto Morelos, Mexico in May 2024. In this special corner of the world, I've spent many hours sizzling under the Caribbean sun, trapping sand between my toes, swaying with the rhythm of the palm trees, dropping sweat on the studio floor, and indulging in the fullest celebration of my movement practice.
what past campers are saying...
Casa Om Mexico offers a lovingly designed insulated retreat abode to carry your week with ease and wonder. Located just 16 miles south of the Cancun International Airport, staff will scoop you up on your Sunday arrival and return you back to the airport on the Saturday departure date. Luxury bedrooms, private bathrooms, linens and necessities, our own pool, hammocks abundant, open air dining palapa, a koi pond complete with turtle friends, and a state-of-the-art yoga studio is yours to call home - nestled just across the street from the Caribbean Sea where 6 stunning sunrises await you.
Above all, I am thrilled and honored to share with you ALL of my specialized offerings I hold near and dear. Campers can expect double daily creative movement workshops - a direct download from my heart to yours. We will explore our connection to our practice through movement, language, play, journaling, music, strength, ease, & getting vertical as well as horizontal. Plan on cartwheels. A morning beach practice. Expect the dreamiest moonlight nidra journey. Haikus will be written. Get your feet in the air. Soften into your most sacred self. In a word: INDULGE.
Itinerary details to unfold as camp approaches. And just like always - everything is optional.
If you happen to be a yoga teacher and partake in all classes/workshops, you will earn 25-hrs of continuing education accredited through Yoga Alliance.
The dining experience is like no other - Casa Om staff prepares daily brunch and dinners with the yogic lifestyle in mind. Exquisitely enriching vegetarian Mexican, Thai, New American, & Lebanese dishes alongside daily juices under the open-air palapa are guaranteed to leave you nourished. A treasure as old as time... sharing meals together serves to enrich our bond as we feed our bodies and spirits, swapping stories as we energize or wind down our day.
Two evenings are reserved for you to explore the nourriture of the town; just take a jaunt down the road and watch the delectable options unfold. The possibilities are endless!
Staff is happy to offer gluten-free and vegan options in addition to taking care of any personal dietary needs.
A plethora of additional wellness journeys are available on-site: massages, body and breath therapies, spa treatments, healing ceremonies... Casa Om employs the most magical local healers and you can expect to be very much taken care of.
... or you can quite literally cross the street and treat yourself to moments in the sun and sand with fresh ceviche and a margarita.
Ready, set... exhale. Close your eyes. Can you smell the sea breeze yet? Feel the sun on face? The salt on your skin?
meet your host:
hi, i'm marge!
Marge (she/her) proudly bears a lifetime affinity for movement and languages, having spent most of her years calling upon the body as her chosen tool of artistic expression in addition to learning Spanish, Italian, and French. She holds a BFA in dance and choreography, a professional certificate of contemporary circus arts, and an E-RYT 500 YACEP Yoga Alliance credential. Her studies, creations, teachings, and performances have blown her all across the globe and today she finds herself sharing the intersection of her accrued disciplines in Richmond, VA. Practitioners in Marge’s hands can expect a unique blend of movement, grace, passion, humor, and awakening to one’s own innate artistry.
Practice with me in Richmond, VA at Humble Haven Yoga, The Yoga Dojo, acac & TAOU.

farrah b. fox
(she/her)
Hiya!! I grew up in southern California and am now based in Richmond, Virginia. I majored in English, but have been side-hustlin’ with photography and graphic design ever since. I'm a fan of vacuuming, lover of stretching, and mother to two sweet puppers. I love connecting with people and documenting all the strange and lovely things that make us human. My goal is for folks to really feel seen and fully represented through my lens. I can’t wait to meet you!
farrah will be offering professional candid photography during specified classes, personalized portraiture sessions, and a sunrise shoot at the beach at no additional cost to participants.
home sweet home:
Casa Om's private property snuggled in a quiet rincón at the end of the road provides a safe home for up to 26 guests. Also on-site is complimentary WiFi access, a private pool, a lush koi pond complete with turtle friends, a community accessible kitchen, lounge areas (indoor and outdoor), its own little library, and plentiful nooks and crannies for taking rest. Sunlight floods the beautiful yoga studio which can accommodate up to 40 practitioners; yoga mats, blocks, and straps are thoughtfully provided for those wishing to travel light.
